If you enjoy picturesque scenery and hiking, hikes and bush walks are abundant in the Scenic Rim - ranging from beginner to advanced levels. If you need gear, be sure to check out some of the local outdoors stores.
The Scenic Rim also offers numerous great fishing locations, a stunning golf course, and lots of adventure activities such as motorbike riding, plane flights, and hot air balloon experiences.
Main Range National Park
Rugged mountain ranges, spectacular lookouts and rare wildlife feature in this prestigious Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area park. Main Range National Park covers 30,170.5 ha. A mosaic of vegetation types occurs in the park. Rainforests grow in moist or sheltered locations, with open eucalyptus forest occurring on the drier ridges and valleys. Montane heath vegetation grows on the cliffs and rocky outcrops.
Moogerah Peaks National Park
The ancient, volcanic peaks of mounts French, Greville, Moon and Edwards are recognised not only for their unique shapes and as favourite bushwalking destinations, they are also remnant habitats of key conservation value within South East Queensland. The peaks are mostly covered in open eucalypt forest with montane heath on the exposed rock faces and rainforest in some sheltered areas.

Scenic Rim Hampers
Kooroomba Gully is passionate about providing fantastic locally made and grown produce to locals and visitors to the Scenic Rim region, offering breakfasts, dinners and hampers. All meals and hampers feature locally made and grown produce and are put together in their commercial kitchen.
The Picnic Parlour
The Picnic Parlour has joined forces with Rockalicious and are now trading up at the main street. The Picnic Parlour is available for group parties and picnic styling!
Boonah Gliding Club
An air experience flight that allows you to have some 'hands on' time with a qualified instructor while enjoying the fabulous scenery around the Scenic Rim.

A great recreational motorbike facility located in the Scenic Rim. It is a great place to go with family and friends if you want to enhance your motorbike riding abilities!
