Please read the following important information regarding COVID

The Park is working to ensure the health and safety of all guests and staff is maintained. We want to address the growing fears around the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and share with you the information we have at the current time.

We are working to ensure our park remains a safe place to visit and work. The health and safety of our community is our main priority, we always uphold a high standard of hygiene within the park, however are taking extra precautions during this time.

We hope you will do what you can to take care of yourself and those around you, we also encourage you to use and support our park with confidence while it is safe to do so.

Remember is you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of the flu, cough or cold to please remain away from the centre until you are feeling 100%.

Update - 13/04/2021

IMPORTANT GUEST & VISITOR UPDATE ❗ 

 

From 6am AEST Thursday 15 April 2021 restrictions put in place in response to the recent COVID-19 outbreak will be removed. Restrictions will be eased across the State.  

While not mandatory, you are strongly encouraged to: 

  • carry a mask with you at all times when you leave home 

  • wear a mask in any indoor or outdoor space when physical distancing is not possible. 
     

As a reminder, from 01 May 2021, contact tracing must be conducted using the Check In QLD App

The free Check In QLD app is available for download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. You should use the Check in QLD App during your stay in our Park from 01 May 2021.

Update - 01/04/2021

❗ IMPORTANT GUEST & VISITOR UPDATE ❗ 

As per the QLD Health directive, Greater Brisbane's lockdown will end today (Thursday 01-April) at 12:00pm AEST, but all Queenslanders will need to wear a mask when leaving their home for the next fortnight - including in our Park.  

For the next two weeks, from 12 noon today until Thursday, 15 April, all Queenslanders will be required to carry a mask when they leave their home. 

  • You must carry a face mask with you at all times when you leave home, unless you have a lawful reason not to. 
  • You must wear a mask in indoor spaces, such as: 
    • cafés areas (not required for patrons while seated; customer facing staff only) 
    • indoor recreational facilities* 
  • It is strongly recommended you wear a mask when outdoors if you are unable to stay more than 1.5m distance from other people, such as busy walkways and thoroughfares. This includes our common areas. 
  • Masks do not need to be worn in some circumstances, including children under 12 years, where people have certain medical conditions, and in workplaces where it is not safe to do so. 
  • You can remove your masks to consume food or drink. 

This period is subject to change in line with revisions from the State Government. Learn more here.

You should contact us regarding your stay if you are: 

  • unwell 
  • have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or asked to quarantine 
  • have returned from overseas in the last 14 days (excluding safe travel zone countries) 
  • have had contact with a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days 
  • have visited a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days or since the hotspot was declared (whichever is shorter) 
  • have been tested for COVID-19 and are waiting to receive the results (except for tests due to surveillance testing obligations) 
  • have COVID-19 symptoms of fever (37.5 degrees or more), cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, runny nose, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting or fatigue.

CHECK-IN QLD APP

The Queensland Government has announced that  contact tracing must be conducted using the Check In QLD App. 

The Check In Qld app is available to download and use to help keep our community COVID Safe when we’re enjoying time in our Park.

The free Check In QLD app is available for download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. You should use the Check in QLD App each time you enter and exit our Park.

 What does this mean for you and us? 

  • Pen and paper contract tracing methods are no longer a suitable form of contact tracing 

  • All guests, staff and visitors should download the Check in QLD App onto their smartphones. 

How to use the Check in QLD App?

  • You should use the Check in QLD App each time you enter and exit our Park.

If you do not have a smartphone or are unable to use one, others in your group can check in for you or staff at the premises will be able to check you in manually.

Update - 25/02/2021

Important Information For Your Booking & Stay 

Our Park is monitoring and managing operations in line with COVID-19 requirements from the State Government and Australian Government Department of Health. 

We are open for and accepting bookings. BOOK NOW to avoid disappointment for the June - July and November - January holiday seasons.  

Health & Safety 

Social distancing (1.5m) rules are applicable in our Park. In addition, COVID-safe cleaning and hygiene practices have been put into effect to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members including increased santisation stations and guidelines supporting a safe stay for all.  

 Future bookings 

We know how unpredictable State restrictions and border closures can be during this time, and we would like to be able to best accommodate all our guests.  

When booking your stay, please make sure you confirm the cancellation policy in regard to COVID-19 with the bookings team prior to confirming your booking.  

Changes or cancellations must be made directly with our bookings team. The team is more than happy to help where possible.

QLD Health Advice 

You have to wear a mask at all times, including when exercising. You can remove your face mask when you leave your residence if you are: 

  • eating or drinking 

  • engaging in work that requires clear communication or visibility of your mouth, for example teaching and live broadcasting. 

  • directed to remove the face mask to ascertain identity. 

  • You don’t need to wear a mask while outdoors at a safe distance from other people or if you’re doing strenuous exercise [outdoors]. 

 

Exceptions to mask wearing are provided for children under 12 and people with medical conditions or disabilities. 

Rest assured, we will continue to operate with COVIDSafe initiatives and practices in place to provide a safe experience in our park. This includes the use and provision of hand sanitiser stations, social distancing measures. 

For our guests who cannot wear a face covering due to valid medical reasons, please contact our friendly team who can best guide you with advice, prior to your visit.  Please submit your enquiry through the CONTACT US page on our website, where you need further assistance.

Update - 08/01/21

As per State Government directive, we will no loger be accepting guests from the greater Brisbane area effective from 6pm tonight (Friday 8 January) until Tuesday 12 January.

This period is subject to change in line with revisions from the state government.

Due to this temporary closure, please read below what this will mean for you. 

By staying at home and limiting contact with other people, we can each help to protect the elderly, the at-risk, and healthcare workers and slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Your Booking
If you have a booking with us for dates included in this lock down, please call us to re-arrange your booking. Guests will have the opportunity to re-book for other dates, or will have the option to be provided with a refund.

PLESE NOTE: We are not open to anyone who is subject to 14 days self-isolation. Guests are also not permitted to complete their self-isolation within our park.

Update: 18/12/2020

Important UPDATE for NSW travellers 

Queensland health officials have imposed new border restrictions as a result of the growing coronavirus cluster in Sydney's Northern Beaches. Effective immediately (18.12.20) anyone travelling or travelled since Dec 11 from the NSW hotspot areas will need to be tested and self-isolate for two weeks. 

 

This includes visitors and Queenslanders returning home. 

For the health and safety of our guests and visitors we ask these restrictions to be followed. If you are feeling unwell or showing flu like symptoms to please get tested and not travel. 

If this impacts your stay with us, please contact our staff to discuss your options.  

If you have checked-in and begun your stay with us, you are permitted to stay and follow self-isolation guidelines.
